Add a CommentI had to read this book for school. It was from my culture so I was excited about reading it. I felt sad when Koly had a hard time and I felt happy when there was something good going on. I would recomend this book to all ages that can read chapter books. It is a pretty easy read. I recomended it to my mom and she read it in an hour.
Hopeful ending. Past BOOKS 2 U book.
I began reading this book for school, and usually, I really dislike realistic or non fiction novels. But this story is really good, I surprised myself by liking it!
I started reading homeless bird because man y people have suggested this book. I kept reading it because it was so sad what happened to Koly and I needed to know if she had a happy ending or not. This character most likely the good mannered person in the world. This is about after husband dies, mother-in-law abandons Koly. This book reminds me of Keeping Corner because they are both about two young widows struggling in India.
