Add a CommentI started reading homeless bird because man y people have suggested this book. I kept reading it because it was so sad what happened to Koly and I needed to know if she had a happy ending or not. This character most likely the good mannered person in the world. This is about after husband dies, mother-in-law abandons Koly. This book reminds me of Keeping Corner because they are both about two young widows struggling in India.
