Won the Newberry Award. Highly recommended.
A very good book, you should read it if you get the chance!
A classic. Eternally enjoyable for all ages. Highly recommended.
Read this book in 1st grade, still enjoy it now.
I have read this book several times and i still enjoy it immensely! The ending is fabulous! And though I didn't ever want to run away myself what kid wouldn't enjoy imagining that such an adventure is possible.
I read this book last summer and it was pretty good! Two sibblings living in a museum and picking up money from the fountain... hahah! It was just a little confusing at the end... I wasn't really following all the filing part... but the rest was pretty good. I would probably recommend reading this.
Engaging read for our 9-yr-old son! There is no greater joy than to hear giggles while reading a good book.
I have loved to read for as long as I can recall and when I was young and reading still felt new, I remember reading this book and discovering that urgency to finish a book while never wanting it to end. I read it multiple times as a kid, and still love to read it now that I'm an adult.
