A small book (180 pages) that is filled with emotion and meaning. It is the story of a young girl named Lily. Her little lies get bigger and bigger each day. She knows it is bad but will she change? Each summer Lily's family (Gram, and Poppy) go to Rockaway. Lily loves spending the summer with her friend Margeret but this summer it's the war. Margeret's family left, leaving Lily friendless. But there is this new boy in town, Albert, maybe they could be friends... It is a wonderful story about friendships, loss and world war two.
