It Was Awful! I Hated The Part When She Meets The Wolves. It Was Completely Terrible. Also, I Couldent Understand A Word It Said.

Julie of the Wolves is an adventurous chapter book about a 13-year-old who runs away from home. She doesn't want to get married and escapes to Alaska. This eskimo girl studies a pack of wolves while lost. She becomes really close knowing each wolves' habits and naming them. This story starts off slow but ends with a surprising shocker.

I love how touching this story is. Wolves will always be a favourite topic of mine, but I truly admire how well the book was written, a fantasy based on real issues.

A very cool book. I haven't read this since gr.7 but I loved the series and how Miyax (Julie) lives with wolves. I first admire wolves from watching the movie Princess Mononoke. :) I hope to read these series again in my free time. For now, I'm occupied reading better novels for my age. ~luv wolves

"Somewhere in this cosmos was Miyax, the very life in her body, the spark and warmth, depended on the wolves for survival."
