Add a Commentgood book!! has some possitive messages so i recomend u read this! (its sad though) (who cares)
While the book was good at times, the majority of the book I was disappointed. I mean every other page someone was doing something gross. But the book had a good message and posed good questions.
Read this for school and was pleasantly surprised by how much I ended up liking it.
Couldn't get passed the first chapter. I'd give it 1/4 star if I could.
The Chocolate War is a great read that would change any person's life. Go out there. Dare to disturb the universe.
Freshman student at a Catholic high school, Jerry refuses to sell chocolates for the yearly fundraiser. He's protesting the bullying and meaness of fellow students as well as cruel teachers and fighting for his own independence. This book was so honest in its portrayal of teenagers and how users seem to get farther ahead in life than nice guys.
