At first I thought this would be too gorry for kids, but it is written with the right combination of humor and fact. Great for the person who likes a little gore with their history!

How They Croaked begins with a clear warning: "If you don't have the guts for gore, DO NOT READ THIS BOOK." They are not kidding.

I enjoyed this book a lot! It had disturbing angd gross facts but I found it interesting. This book is a caudill book for 2013 and would work just great if you had to read a caudill book for school. In this book you learn facts of many famous people like George Washington and King Tut and how they died . Also this book tells what the doctors did in many types of dying situations. I would totallly reccomend this book to anybody who could handle blood and much, much more.

Apparently it's a children's book. But I do not think so. Rather for teens. Still - any adult can enjoy it. There are interesting historical facts. Specific humor, because of which this book is more suitable for adults than for children.

I found this book in the childrens section at my library. From the second I looked at it and read the first page I couldnt put it down. Such an awesome and disgusting book with interesting facts! I ended up reading it in one day. I loved it!

It's a weird but interesting book. It's done with humor and dignity on how people who were famous passed away. Murders, diseases, and many other things happened to famous people. It's an interesting read.

Well, this book certainly doesn’t shy away from the gross details. I can picture middle schoolers the world over going “eeeuuuwwww!” when they read it. I was already familiar with how most of the people died (though I was surprised to learn it wasn’t an asp that did Cleopatra in) but it was entertaining to view their deaths from a kid’s point of view.
